Norman Weatherly: Keyboard/Vocals

 

Keyboard and background vocals, is proud to say that his career in music began when he was 10 years old, playing in nightclubs and dances in the Northeast area of Ohio. Originally from Akron, Norman made a considerable political contribution to former president Jimmy Carter by writing and recording a song used in the campaign for the presidency. Since moving to Los Angeles, The Drifters, The Coasters, The Platters, Mary Wells and The Marvellettes have found Norman’s adept skill on the keyboards to be a considerable asset to their live stage shows. Also Grady Harrell (BMG Records) saw fit to use Norman’s talent to do the keyboard work on three of the songs on Grady’s album.
